Managing Director, Joe Serra has been involved in the Finance Industry for the past 35 years and being at a local regional level has a true understanding of business community’s needs.  Joe is also involved in community services activities and supports local initiatives that support community development.

Joe originally commenced with Australian Guarantee Corporation (AGC) in September 1976 as a trainee Personal Loans Manager. From there he graduated through various officer, supervisory and management roles, operating his own branches, and departments with staff throughout Melbourne and Regional Victoria.

His work experience and training covered the Consumer, Dealer and Commercial Lending portfolios of AGC, which eventually morphed over into Westpac Equipment Finance. Following a successful and rewarding 28+years, Joe then joined the Southern Financial Group (SFG) as their Regional Manager – Geelong on 1/7/2005 for three years in a business developmental role.

In the last 3 years Joe has been brokering as a finance consultant through his own company Serra Finance Pty Ltd to Auslease Pty Ltd (a subsidiary of SFG and a member of Money Resources Group).
